International Feminist Assembly – towards 8M 2023

On February 11th, The Feminist Assembly of the European Forum hosted a telematic meeting, gathering feminist activists from over 20 countries of Europe, Africa, Northern and South America and from about 25 different feminist organizations. We discussed how to mobilise together for the 8M feminist strike, by focusing on the claims and revindications that unite women globally. The Assembly adopted a common hashtag (#WomenUnitedFor / Against….), that can be adapted according to each specific situation.

and by spreading it, since the 1st of March, on social media, by taking pictures/videos of you carrying the printed visual at home, in your workplace, at the 8M demos… creativity here is very much welcome! Do not hesitate to send this material to silvia.pentassuglio [at] european-left.org by March 15th. We aim to create a video combining all this material, to be shared and spread after the 8M. See you soon to take stock of the 8M mobilisations, with another telematic assembly in April (more info will follow soon!).

Le 11 février, l’Assemblée féministe du Forum européen a organisé une réunion télématique, rassemblant des militantes féministes de plus de 20 pays d’Europe, d’Afrique, d’Amérique du Nord et du Sud et d’environ 25 organisations féministes différentes. Nous avons discuté de la manière de nous mobiliser ensemble pour la grève féministe du 8M, en nous concentrant sur les revendications et les revendications qui unissent les femmes dans le monde. L’Assemblée a adopté un hashtag commun (#FemmesUniesPour / Contre….), qui peut être adapté en fonction de chaque situation spécifique.
Rejoignez la campagne 8M du Forum européen, en téléchargeant les visuels ci-dessous:

- Photo à imprimer et compléter à la main: Français
et en les diffusant, depuis le 1er mars, sur les médias sociaux, en prenant des photos/vidéos de vous portant le visuel imprimé chez vous, sur votre lieu de travail, lors des manifs du 8M… la créativité est ici la bienvenue ! N’hésitez pas à envoyer ce matériel à silvia.pentassuglio [at] european-left.org avant le 15 mars. Nous avons l’intention de créer une vidéo combinant tout ce matériel, qui sera partagée et diffusée après la 8M. A bientôt pour faire le point sur les mobilisations de la 8M, avec une autre assemblée télématique en avril (plus d’infos suivront bientôt !).
Faisons grève ensemble et restons #UniesPour un avenir plus juste et féministe, contre le système capitaliste et patriarcal !

El 11 de febrero, la Asamblea Feminista del Foro Europeo acogió un encuentro telemático, reuniendo a activistas feministas de más de 20 países de Europa, África, América del Norte y del Sur y de unas 25 organizaciones feministas. Debatimos cómo movilizarnos juntas para la huelga feminista del 8M, centrándonos en las reivindicaciones y reclamos que unen a las mujeres a nivel global. La Asamblea adoptó un hashtag común (#MujeresUnidasPor / Contra….), que puede adaptarse en función de cada situación concreta.7

No dudes en enviar este material a silvia.pentassuglio [at] european-left.org antes del 15 de marzo. Nuestro objetivo es crear un vídeo que combine todo este material, para compartirlo y difundirlo después del 8M. Nos vemos pronto para hacer balance de las movilizaciones del 8M, con otra asamblea telemática en abril (¡pronto más información!).
